Wooow, no one writes anything on here. So to break the silence, here are all the 2008 Academy Award nominated short animated films. They're all really, really good. And (if anyone checks on here anymore) we should get some discussion going!

This Way Up - Alan Smith and Adam Foulkes

La Maison won, and if you haven't seen it before, here's the director's acceptance speech. It's possibly the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
And, of course, there's the animated feature award. Wall-E, Kungfu Panda and Bolt were nominated, and Wall-E won, which I think was completely just. Although Bolt is very, very good, especially considering that Disney isn't exactly renowned for its 3d work outside of relying on Pixar.
